C.B. Facey Foundation

The C.B. Facey Foundation has a mission directed towards encouraging positive social change in communities through the areas of early childhood education, the development of the arts and the protection of the environment. The foundation has contributed to two educational institutions in Boys’ Town, namely the Cecil Boswell Facey Basic School, formally known as Boys’ Town Basic School, and the Boys’ Town All Age School.

Boys’ Town Infant Department

The Boys’ Town Basic School was started by Father Hugh Sherlock in May 1985. The renaming of the institution in 2005 to Boys’ Town Infant Department honours deceased business mogul Cecil Boswell Facey after expansion and renovations. The co-ed basic school has a small student population and attends to children between the ages of three to five.

Boys’ Town All Age School

The Boys’ Town All Age School was founded in 1942.  Boys Town All Age is a primary school, serving children aged 6-12, as well as an Infant Department for children 3-6 years old. The school offers an A-STEP (Alternative Secondary Education Programme) Centre that establishes a foundation for job placement or vocational training upon completion.
